PPF Group is again one of the biggest taxpayers in the Czech Republic

In 2019, Czech companies in PPF Group paid a total of CZK 3.0 billion in income taxes to the Czech public purse.

According to the Czech Ministry of Finance, the Group is regularly among the top ten taxpayers in the Czech Republic. The largest taxpayers in PPF Group include O2 Czech Republic and CETIN. Home Credit International, Air Bank and PPF banka are also important taxpayers from PPF Group. 

PPF Group is also a major employer in the Czech Republic. At the end of 2019, Czech companies in which PPF Group held majority interests employed almost 14,000 people, for whom they paid CZK 3.9 billion to the State in social security and health insurance. Thus, companies with PPF Group’s majority interests contributed CZK 6.9 billion to the State in income tax and labour-related payments in 2019.

Czech companies in PPF Group include PPF a.s., Home Credit International, SOTIO, PPF Real Estate and Škoda Transportation. Among the other companies in the Czech Republic in which PPF Group holds majority interests are PPF banka, Air Bank, CETIN, O2 Czech Republic and Bestsport. The overwhelming majority of their employees are highly skilled experts in their respective fields.
