New CEO at Eldorado

PPF Group as 100% owner of Eldorado, a leading Russian retaile chain, announces personal change in the position of the company’s CEO.
Based on the agreement with the shareholder, Kakha Kobakhidze is leaving the position of CEO. The shareholder decided to appoint Igor Dolezel, current Vice-President for Commercial Block, as a new CEO. Igor Dolezel has a long-term and unique experience working at top management positions in sales and distribution areas with different types of organisations, mainly at retail. During recent six years he works for PPF Group, being Sales Director of Home Credit & Finance Bank in Russia and Country Manager in Belarus.
Oleg Sukovatov, current Vice-President for Security and Legal Protection of the Business, takes over interim executive powers until Igor Dolezel receives his administrative approvals to become a new CEO.
Says Jiri Smejc, PPF Group shareholder: “Kakha Kobakhidze took over the company in hard times and contributed immensely to its turn-around and re-positioning. Thanks to him the company is on the right track and will sure continue under a new CEO who is one of the most experienced PPF's managers with proven track record.”

1. Oleg Sukovatov (33) has university degree through graduating in International Law from Moscow Social and Humanitarian Academy, as well as managerial degree from INSEAD (France). Oleg is experienced legal counsel and manager who worked at insurance and retail companies in Russia. He speaks fluent English and spent several years in the U.S. Oleg joined Eldorado in September, 2007, holding top positions within the Legal Department.
