The PPF Healthcare company was founded in 2008 to focus on the activities of PPF Group in the health services arena. This sector is very attractive to PPF over the long term, because of both its stable growth and its aperiodicity.
In 2009, PPF Healthcare successfully began operations by acquiring 100% shares of Euroclinicum a.s. – a chain of clinics and hospitals in the Czech Republic. The transaction was completed on January 4, 2010. Additionally, PPF Healthcare is currently working on several capital investment projects in the Czech Republic and abroad.
PPF Healthcare will now pursue the development of the Euroclinicum medical chain (www.euroclinicum.cz), focusing mainly on improving and extending patient services. Apart from this, PPF Healthcare will seek out further M&A opportunities in the Czech Republic and abroad, particularly in CEE, Russia and other countries of the CIS.
